Overview

RX is a registration, administration and competition management system used by USA Rugby, USA Youth & HS Rugby and RugbyNY. New for this season is the addition of Fall and Spring specific registration types for Rookie Rugby, Flag Rugby, and Youth Rugby allowing members clubs to collect club dues for each season without duplicating payment for USA and RugbyNY registration. Another new feature is the ability for RugbyNY to remove any registration type that your club does not use from your organization's list of available payment settings. This will help club admins and members more easily navigate RX thru club setup and registration.

Carryover from last season

All club administrators, payment settings and registration types from last year have all been carried over to the '23-'24 season in RX. Teams, team admins and squad lists from last year have all been archived and will need to be created new for this season.

ALL Varsity Initiative clubs need to apply annually and be approved as a varsity program by USA Youth & HS Rugby before they can begin registering players. A supporting document from your school and/or district is required to complete the application.

More information on the Varsity Initiative program can be found here on the USA Youth & HS Rugby web site.

Getting Started with RX

Whether you are a returning club administrator or are new to the RX platform, please review this Rugby Xplorer refresher:

Step 1: Create your member profile. Anyone can create a member profile in RX, and there is no cost to do so. If you created a profile last year you do not need to do this again, even if your club or your role has changed.

Step 2: Designate a club admin. Each club in the RX system needs to have a club administrator. The club admin can manage registered members, create teams, assign players to teams, and much more. Anyone with an RX member profile can be a club administrator. If you need to assign a club administrator, email us at info@rugbyny.com requesting admin privileges. Be sure to specify which club you are requesting access for and be sure to use the exact email address from your RX profile.

Step 3: Set up your club to take registrations. Once your club has an administrator, they can begin the process of setting up your club information, creating teams, and adding payment settings. The video below walks thru those steps.

Step 4: Open your registration. Once your club information has been added and your payment settings have been created, you are ready for your players, coaches, volunteers and others to register with your club.
