I dont know anything about rugby. How do you play?

There are many resources available explaining the game of rugby and how it is played.

Where does RugbyNY play?

We are a statewide non-profit organization. We currently have teams & programs in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, North Country, Hudson Valley, Metropolitan NYC and Long Island.

There are no teams in my area. Can I start one?

Absolutely! Many of our teams began as a direct result of someone in a community starting a team or program.

What equipment do I need to play rugby?

Needs vary depending on club, but to get started all you need are a good pair of running shoes, a pair of cleats, and if playing tackle rugby, and a good quality, properly fitted mouth guard.
