Rugby NY growing the game at Schalmont Central Schools

Rugby NY continued their program of bringing rugby to local schools as they visited Schalmont Central Schools (Schenectady) last week to teach the rules of non-contact rugby.

Students enjoyed an opportunity to learn the basics of rugby through fundamental drills, game pay and scrimmages led by Rugby NY coaches and players as part of their regular gym classes

Rugby NY also provided Schlamont with equipment so they could explore adding it to the physical education curriculum.
